Audiobook production, direction and dialogue editing for Olly Smith's debut cosy crime novel, narrated by Miles Jupp.
Overview
Death By Noir is an audiobook production for Hachette UK released across all major platforms.
The project involved complete end-to-end production management, from recording and performance direction through to editing, mastering, quality control and final delivery.
Working closely with both the publisher and author, the production demonstrated RAUDIOPOST's ability to manage every aspect of audiobook production within a streamlined and collaborative workflow.
Raudio's Role
raudio directed, recorded, edited and mastered the audiobook, guiding Miles Jupp's narration through Barclay Flint's wine-soaked world of Sussex villagers, old rivalries and simmering suspicion, and managing the production through to final delivery.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of the project was the close collaboration with the author.
Having an engaged and supportive author involved throughout the production process made creative discussions both productive and enjoyable, helping ensure the final audiobook remained faithful to the spirit and tone of the original work.

The project also benefited from the use of RAUDIOPOST's proprietary production platform, Slate.
